The following prices are intended as a general guide. Final pricing depends on the dimensions of the icon, the complexity of the composition, the number of figures depicted, and the amount of 22-carat gold leaf used.

The prices listed above refer to icons depicting a single saint, with 22-carat gold leaf applied to the halo only. More complex compositions, multiple figures, larger gilded areas, or custom designs may affect the final price. 

Materials

Each icon is created using carefully selected materials in accordance with traditional Byzantine iconographic practice:

  • High-quality marine plywood panel
  • Traditional gesso ground (chalk and natural glue preparation)
  • Traditional egg tempera pigments
  • 22-carat gold leaf
  • Protective finish

The choice of traditional materials contributes not only to the visual beauty of the icon but also to its durability over time.

Please note: Icons are created on high-quality marine plywood panels as standard. Upon request, icons may also be executed on carved wooden panels or premium linden wood panels. These options involve additional craftsmanship and material costs and may affect the final price.
